Community New Start, an afterschool program for underpriviledged kids, was looking to rebrand themselves. They picked the name, Side by Side Kids, and needed a new logo, website, and printed materials to accompany the new name. I created this logo to showcase that idea of "side by side" by bridging the dots of the eyes, yet keeping "kids" fun.
I created the logo in black and white and the client chose their favorite shape. I added color once the shape was chosen. I do this so that the colors do not play into the initial logo decision, potentially adding bias. I then created versions on both light and dark backgrounds and keep the one-color version for printing on merchandise. I created the "thumb" logo for use as an icon on sites like Twitter and Facebook.
I just want to say "Thank You" for all of your help in the rebrand of SBSK. We love it! Words cannot express how much this has helped our efforts.
